Travel is such a nice thing but it took long time for me to discover that I have a deep interest for visiting the places and meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds, and that could be a reason why I like Chennai so much. Now apart from reading, exercise and partying almost every alternate weekend I would love to take this interest quite seriously. Tamilnadu must be the first state to target in pursuit of my travel enigma, which is quite unknown to me. I have not yet worked out on my wish list of the places, but what’s wrong in taking off without any plans, after all nike says “just do it”.
Well, this was not the first time I was visiting Pondicherry, we have been to this magical land even before, but I just find the place more and more witching with my each dying trip. Pondicherry which is highly influenced by the French culture and the architecture as once was the French colony, still serves the purpose of a foreign look-alike destination in the country for thousand of residential Indians, and the addition of Union Territory status adds more colors to its beauty. With the sales tax exemption on boozes which is definitely our principal motto behind the recurring visits, Pondicherry has already captured a special spot in our pulse and intellect.
Break loose to Pondicherry on weekends, however it is not that easy to cover the length and width of the city in 2 days which has the ownership of wide ranges of places to see and enjoy. The beach area including the French colony has the amazing view, La’ Café where we had our light lunch with French Croissant and Power Juice was a serene place to enjoy the beauty of restless sea, Aurobindo ashram which is visited by lot of foreigners every day to understand and experience the Indian way of spiritualism are few places I happened and managed to see.
The time flies like anything here, and by the moment you start realizing the worth of the place you may end up loosing all your time. There is not much you can take from here still I managed to get something for me… some snaps and memories…!!!

you are right when you say " what's wrong in taking of without any plans".sometimes its more fun to do things spontaneously without any planning.
well this beautiful narrative of the place evokes a desire in me to visit the place myself...may you get to visit more such places and enlighten us with your experience..
